Dr. Mechoulam, considered the "godfather of modern cannabis research," provided the foreword to Cannabis in Clinical Practice, but passed away in 2023 at the age of 92 before it was released. This book is dedicated in his memory.

The content of this book is used as a textbook by co-author Maria Pettinato in her class at The Seattle University College of Nursing. Resources for educators are available upon request.
